The Law of the Harvest

Wealth, like a harvest, cannot be rushed.

A farmer does not plant a seed today and expect a crop tomorrow. He chooses the right seed, prepares the soil, gives it water and nourishment, and then allows nature to do its work. Along the way, he accepts heat, rain, storms and changing seasons—without digging up the seed every few weeks to check whether it is growing.

Investing works much the same way.

The right investment, backed by a strong business and sound fundamentals, needs time to compound. Markets will have good seasons and difficult ones. Prices may fall even when the underlying investment remains strong.

The biggest mistake is often not choosing the wrong investment—it is abandoning a good investment before it has had enough time to grow.

There are no shortcuts to sustainable wealth.

Plant wisely. Stay invested. Be patient. Let time do the heavy lifting.

Because in investing, the harvest belongs to those who have the patience to stay through the seasons.

Happy Harvesting!
